If you've been wondering where we've been..

Hi everyone, Mandy here. I'm sure you've noticed it's been a couple years since this page has been updated. The group has sort of disbanded ever since Phil & I lost our precious baby girl in July 2010. We had to take a break, and we weren't able to get the group back together again. Phil and I have continued to lead worship at SBC, though not as often as in the past. Now that the fog of our loss is beginning to dissipate, and we've been blessed with the happiest baby boy you could ever meet, I am back to my songwriting, and we are ready to do more with the musical gifts God has given us. We are looking into playing at the Vine in July for their open mic night, and we will continue to update here & on our facebook page (link on the sidebar). Our style has evolved to be more acoustic and mellow, with 1 guitar, conga drums & 2 voices. We hope you enjoy the new sound, and pray that our group, however small, will continue to reach people for Jesus.

Family Fun Night- Springfield Baptist Church

Saturday August 15th at 5 pm is Family Fun Night at Springfield Baptist Church- a free night of fun for the whole family- games, food, a moonbounce, and we'll be playing music for the whole event. Come out for a night of wholesome family fun!

THE VINE THIS FRIDAY!

We're excited to be playing at the Vine bookstore this Friday night at 8:00 for their open stage coffee house. We'll be performing 2 of our original songs.

We're also thrilled to welcome some new friends to the group- Mike Walker will be joining us on bass, Chip Schiavone will be playing the drums, and Mary Almonte will be singing with us.

Coffee House at The Vine!

Come join us at The Vine Christian Shop, Friday June 19th at 154 Baltimore pike in Springfield. We will be joining a number of other groups for their open mic coffee house event from 8 to 10 PM.

Photos from our first coffee house

On February 22nd, we held our first coffee house night at the church. Many thanks to our friends, Jim & Amie, who planned it & provided all the food! A great time was had by all. It was a great, laid back atmosphere, and everyone enjoyed the music. The next one is in the works!
